Tammy Taylor earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Norfolk State University while pursuing dance training throughout the Hampton Roads region. She has taught dance across both the Hampton Roads and Northern Virginia regions, working with children, teens, and adults. In addition to classroom instruction, she has developed and implemented programs that focus on technical growth, creativity, confidence, and personal development. Since joining Virginia Dance Center in 2015, Tammy has provided quality Hip Hop instruction in a positive, structured, and encouraging environment. She is passionate about using dance to build confidence, teamwork, and self-expression, and strives to help each student strengthen their technique, perform with confidence, and develop an appreciation for dance.
