Reghan Scheatzle

Reghan Scheatzle was born and grew up in Manassas. She began dance classes at Virginia Dance Center when she was just three years old! Reghan studied a wide variety of dance styles, such as Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Pointe, Theater Dance, and Hip-Hop, before ultimately focusing her area of study on Ballet, Pointe, and Variations. She expanded her knowledge in these areas by spending her summers training with numerous ballet companies, such as Joffrey Ballet in New York City where she was selected as a featured dancer in Tyler Gillstrap’s “The Collective”, as well as multiple summers with Ballet Magnificat. Reghan was VDC’s first student to compete in the Youth American Grand Prix, an international ballet competition. Reghan has held the roles of Peter Pan in VDC’s Dancing through Neverland and Clara in the Lasley Centre’s The Nutcracker. Reghan continued her college education in Virginia Beach where she attended Regent University, graduating with her Bachelor’s in Government with a concentration in pre-law. During her time in Virginia Beach, Reghan danced and choreographed for Masterworks Touring Company, as well as taught classes at the associated Academie de Ballet. After completing her undergraduate degree, Reghan returned to the Manassas area where she is currently a law student at the Columbus School of Law. Reghan is excited to join the VDC staff and to begin working with our dancers!
