Kayce Schaffer

Kayce Schaffer was born and raised in the Metro DC area and started dancing at the age of three. She has trained in ballet, jazz, modern, pointe, tap, and musical theater. Kayce has performed as Scraps in the ballet “Journey Through Oz,” The Sugar Plum Fairy in “The Nutcracker” and others. Her notable musical theater roles include, Cassie in “A Chorus Line,” Ellie in “Showboat,” as well as a featured dancer in “Pippin,” “West Side Story,” “Kiss Me, Kate,” “Red Hot & Cole” and more. She was selected to perform in the 2002 The Kennedy Center Honors Gala honoring Chita Rivera. Kayce has been teaching dance for almost 20 years and choreographing shows in the DC area for nearly as long! She met her husband, Ryan, while performing in a dinner theater production of “Showboat” where they performed as Frank & Ellie together. Kayce and her husband have two kids and a dog. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting and reading.
