Individual and group photographs will be taken at the Virginia Dance Center according to the below schedule. We encourage all students to attend their picture day(s) so that class photos can include as many students from each class as possible. Please find your child’s class(es) in the schedule that follows. The time listed as “Picture Time ” is the start time for group and individual pictures for that class. To keep our schedule running on time throughout the weekend, we request that you arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of your child’s photo time. In order to stay as close to schedule as possible we CANNOT wait for students to arrive to begin the group pictures. If you are late, it is VERY LIKELY that your child will miss their group photograph.

Students should arrive in costume. Hair should be styled and make-up applied as requested in the handouts that will be attached to the costumes when they are distributed.

Despite my efforts to schedule students with multiple classes and siblings to be photographed on the same day, it was not always possible to do so. While I was able to arrange for the majority of students who are in multiple classes to have all of their photos taken on the same day, I was not able to accomplish this for all students. Given the number of students enrolled in multiple classes and the number of siblings enrolled in classes, it was not possible to give everyone an ideal schedule. I have arranged the schedule in a way that is most convenient to the majority of families and apologize to those whose schedule is less than ideal. Unfortunately, a number of the costume companies are delivering later than usual this year and some costumes are scheduled to arrive after the photo dates in May. Due to the late delivery of these costumes, I have arranged a make-up date on Sunday, June 1. Students who are in these classes in addition to other classes may find that they are scheduled for both the May photo session as well as the make-up photo session in June. I apologize in advance for this inconvenience.

Please let me know ahead of time if your child will be unable to attend their picture day/time. If you are unable to bring your child to their group photo but would like to arrange for individual photos to be taken on May 3 or 4 or June 1, please contact the office to make arrangements.
