Dear Parents and Students,

As you know, the Virginia Dance Center’s student performance, Dancin’ 2007 is being held at Forest Park High School on Saturday, June 30th. In order to keep the costs of admission and costumes down, VDC holds a fund raiser every year. The money raised in the fund raiser will also go toward holding a small reception for the students and guests at Forest Park High School following our student performances. Participation in the fund raiser is, of course, voluntary.

Each student who participates will be asked to sell 1 box (52 pieces) of candy bars. Each candy bar sells for $1.00 and includes a $1.00 SUBWAY coupon. Each student who sells at least 1 case (52 pieces) and returns the money to the studio no later than Saturday, April 28th will receive a free Dancin’ 2007 t-shirt prior to the performance. The student who sells the highest quantity of candy and turns the money in to the studio no later than April 28th will also receive a $25.00 gift certificate for their choice of merchandise from VDC. In the event there is a tie in the highest amount of candy sold, each winning seller will receive a $15.00 gift certificate.

The candy is expected to arrive in the next couple of weeks. If you are not interested in participating, please fill out and return the bottom portion of this memo so that we do not send candy home with your child.
